Studio Stora Holm is part of the environment around Stora Holm Satori, a place which breathes freedom and naturalness. Buildings have a long history and a modern feel while standing in a magnificent natural setting just a few kilometers from central Gothenburg.
It was built in the 1670s and given to old warlords who got the farm as a gift from the king. In 1928 the farm was bought by Oscar Nyblom. It is comprised of four residential buildings from the 1600s and 1700s, including the Studio where our course will be held. A small lake is right next door.
Today the fifth generation is growing up on the farm, where nine children and 10 adults live together.
The atmosphere is a mix of glamour and rural charm. You can see Icelandic horses grazing in the pastures. Chickens and the occasional cat sneaking around in the yard.
The area around Stora Holm Sateri provides an experience that both touches and remains in the soul.
Stora Holm Satori includes the Franks Skaferriet, a delicious ecological restauran which will be catering all our vegetarian meals.
